140 internationally renowned interventional radiologists, oncologists and surgeons will guide us through this year’s programme, providing attendees with 50 hours of live sessions. The programme will stream on two parallel channels throughout the four congress days, making ECIO 2021 the world’s most comprehensive platform for interventional oncology education and knowledge exchange.
Throughout the congress, some of the most renowned interventional oncologists and top industry experts will comment on the sessions and discuss IO’s hot topics from a live studio in Vienna.
The comprehensive programme will examine a wide spectrum of IO applications, ranging from treatment of renal and adrenal disease to how artificial intelligence can support daily practice to immuno-oncology and many more.
This interactive session format has become a firm favourite in the ECIO programme. This year, experts will talk you through IRE for locally advanced pancreatic cancer, bone tumour ablation and reconstruction, ballon TACE for HCC and many more.
A dedicated CIRSE meets JSIR session will look at where various interventional oncology procedures stand in Japan, offering interesting insights into daily IR practice in one of the most technologically forward-looking countries on earth. Not to be missed!
Basic Courses will once again provide introductions on various procedures for beginners in the field. This year’s basic courses will focus on prostate cancer, renal cancer ablation, and GU primer and adrenal disease.
A dedicated technology innovation channel will stream all that is new from the field’s most important tools and materials manufacturers.
Dedicated symposia time slots will allow for delegates to catch up on the latest industry data without missing any of the lectures.
The online format will allow for many more interventional radiology experts from around the world to join ECIO 2021, add their knowledge, and enhance everyone’s learning experience.
Taking place online, ECIO 2021 will make it easier than ever to introduce your MDT colleagues to what interventional oncology can do for cancer patients. To further increase multidisciplinary cooperation, the Collaborating against Cancer Initiative will make it possible for interventional radiologists to bring their oncologists, gastroenterologists, hepatologists, surgeon, and radiation oncologist colleagues to the congress free of charge.
The ECIO 2021 Technology Innovation Only ticket will give all interested parties the opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in IO technology.
