The Japanese Society of Interventional Radiology (JSIR) is one of interventional radiology’s most active national societies and has long played an important role in supporting the development of interventional oncology. As a CIRSE group member, the JSIR has also played a key part in CIRSE’s efforts to increase awareness of interventional oncology procedures throughout the world.
At ECIO 2021, a dedicated CIRSE meets JSIR session will look at where various interventional oncology procedures stand in Japan, offering interesting insights into daily IR practice in one of the most technologically forward-looking countries on earth.
