Collaborating Against Cancer Initiative

The Collaborating Against Cancer Initiative is open to all interventional radiologists/radiologists with a complete registration to take their non-radiologist colleague to ECIO free of charge with up to € 1,000 in travel support.

The non-radiologist colleague must be one of the following:

  • oncologist
  • gastroenterologist
  • hepatologist
  • surgeon
  • radiation oncologist
  • urologist
  • gynaecologist
  • endocrinologist
  • general practitioner / family doctor
  • Hospital pharmacist

Register

If you plan on bringing your tumour board colleague to ECIO 2026 through the Collaborating Against Cancer Initiative, simply register yourself via the registration page. Please be aware that during the registration process, only interventional radiologist or radiologists will be given the opportunity to apply and will be asked for the contact information of their non-IR colleague. Please note that educational grant recipients are not eligible to participate in the Collaborating Against Cancer Initiative.

Terms and conditions

This initiative is only eligible to interventional radiologists with a completed registration for ECIO 2026.

There are no limitations to the number of non-radiologist colleagues that can be nominated. However, the interventional radiologist must have the permission and agreement of all nominated non-radiologist colleagues that their contact information may be shared with CIRSE and used in accordance with the data protection.
